Details

Anthropic is seeking a Web Product Manager to build and lead the strategy and roadmap for claude.com. As the first web product manager, you will develop and execute the vision that turns our websites into primary channels for acquisition, conversion, and storytelling across prosumer and enterprise audiences. You will operate at the intersection of marketing, design, and engineering to raise experimentation velocity, improve conversion, and establish a durable measurement story for the web.

Responsibilities

  • Own the web experience strategy for claude.com, setting the vision for how marketing surfaces work together as a portfolio and ensuring each site performs against its audience and goals.
  • Stand up and lead the web experimentation program across claude.com: set hypotheses, prioritize landing page creation, enable analysis, and manage rollout.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization across acquisition, signup, and checkout funnels; identify high-leverage opportunities and partner with Web Design and Growth Product to ship them.
  • Establish the web analytics foundation with Data Science: ensure instrumentation, dashboards, and funnel reporting are in place to make growth decisions quickly.
  • Lead international and localization strategy for the web, partnering with regional marketing and localization teams.
  • Partner with Growth Product, Data, and Enterprise Marketing to build tooling, instrumentation, and funnel infrastructure for fast, measurable experimentation.
  • Collaborate with SEO and paid channel owners on on-page requirements and landing page experiments.
  • Coordinate and prioritize inbound web requests from Product Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Sales Ops, and other stakeholders based on growth impact.
  • Build and communicate a durable measurement story for the web (what's being tested, learnings, and business value) to marketing and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into a clear, prioritized web roadmap aligned with marketing and product strategy.
  • Track record of driving measurable business results through the web in competitive, fast-moving markets.
  • Experience running experimentation programs (A/B testing) that moved meaningful business metrics with clear ROI.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and driving improvements across acquisition, signup, and checkout funnels.
  • Fluency with analytics tools, funnel modeling, and experimentation design; strong quantitative instincts.
  • Experience operating between Marketing, Design, and Engineering, with strong prioritization and cross-functional influence.
  • Experience setting strategy for localized web experiences and workflows across regions and languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting strategy and results to executive audiences.
  • Deep interest in AI and its potential to impact how people work, learn, and create.

Preferred qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in web product management, web growth, digital strategy, CRO, or web experimentation at consumer or B2B technology companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical SEO and site architecture.
  • Background marketing AI, developer, or other technical products to both consumer and enterprise audiences.
  • Experience shipping and optimizing localized web experiences across international markets.
  • History of partnering closely with in-house brand and design teams on high-craft marketing sites; familiarity with developer-focused web surfaces.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional web initiatives with measurable impact on conversion and brand perception.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $305,000 - $385,000 USD.

Logistics

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Minimum years of experience: Correlates with internal job level requirements for the position.
  • Location-based hybrid policy: staff expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more time in office.
  • Visa sponsorship: The company states they do sponsor visas and retain an immigration lawyer to assist, though they cannot guarantee sponsorship for every role/candidate.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and an office space for collaboration.
