Details

NVIDIA's AI Safety & Security Engineering team builds and evaluates AI-powered tooling that helps find, validate, and patch software vulnerabilities. The agent harness and the platform it runs on provide the foundation for this work.

The Harness/Platform Engineer will build and maintain this foundation, making the program's work repeatable and trustworthy. The role involves shaping NVIDIA NeMo agent tooling, keeping the workflow visible from environment to run to result, collaborating with security research and evaluation engineers, and reducing friction in researcher workflows. This includes maintaining reliable environments, versioned tooling, and reproducible runs, as well as debugging issues with the engineers who encounter them.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain the agent harness.
Build evaluation infrastructure for running and reproducing experiments.
Own environments, tooling, and repeatable runs.
Partner with security and evaluation engineers on their workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong Python engineering skills.
Comfort with containerized environments and CI/CD.
Experience with agent frameworks, LLM orchestration, ML infrastructure, or evaluation harnesses.
Attention to versioned tooling and repeatable results.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with NVIDIA NeMo or similar agent frameworks.
Exposure to security tooling or vulnerability research.
Experience building internal tools for other engineers.

Compensation And Benefits

Base salary range: USD 152,000–241,500 per year.
