SentinelOne is seeking a Principal AI Engineering Architect to lead the development and deployment of next-generation AI-powered cybersecurity solutions. This role will translate cutting-edge AI research into production-grade, globally scalable products and drive the strategy and execution of core AI platforms that support SentinelOne's cybersecurity platform.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI engineering, applying advances in machine learning to help customers discover and defeat threats.
Represent AI Engineering as a key contributor to the Architecture Board and help define the overall architecture strategy for the SentinelOne Platform and Services.
Define strategies to support cross-domain requirements for using AI platforms and services across SentinelOne.
Serve as a lead individual contributor and mentor across distributed teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous innovation.
Design and build new AI capabilities for SentinelOne's cybersecurity platform.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple engineering teams to support integration and innovation in AI-powered cybersecurity products.
Establish best practices for MLOps, security, and performance monitoring to ensure the reliability and efficacy of AI defense mechanisms.

Requirements

15 or more years of progressive experience in software or machine learning engineering.
Proven track record of delivering multiple high-scale, production-ready AI or data products from concept through deployment and maintenance.
Deep expertise in building highly available, low-latency machine learning systems, including experience with machine learning workflows and processes.
Experience in endpoint security, operating system concepts, or a related field involving large-scale event processing and real-time processing challenges.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and retain high-performing AI engineering talent.
Expert-level knowledge of Python and modern frameworks such as Pydantic.
Experience with cloud-native MLOps platforms such as Kubeflow.
Experience with large-scale data processing technologies.
Hands-on familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments, especially AWS and Google Cloud.

Compensation

The U.S. base salary range is $224,000–$308,000 per year. The applicable pay range may vary by candidate location and will be provided during the recruiting process for certain locations.
