The role will define product strategy, build partner relationships, and drive execution with engineering. It will also serve as the external face of the connectors team, developing relationships with partners, customers, and the broader ClickHouse community while translating market trends and external feedback into a roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for ClickHouse's native connectors and partner ecosystem.
  • Build feedback loops with technology partners, driving co-innovation and expanding the joint integration surface.
  • Track the competitive landscape and develop data-backed opinions about ecosystem investments.
  • Work with engineering to balance connector stability, ClickHouse feature coverage, and developer experience.
  • Measure and communicate business impact, ROI, and customer success for the connectors portfolio.
  • Promote the ClickHouse ecosystem through conference talks, blog posts, technical content, and community engagement.
  • Build a design partner program to gather early customer feedback and co-develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on expertise in modern data integration, including streaming, orchestration, ETL/ELT, ingestion, or developer-facing platform products.
  • Technical depth in APIs, schema design, performance trade-offs, and connector architecture.
  • Ability to set up integrations, read technical documentation, and debug connector behavior.
  • Ability to anticipate integration landscape trends and communicate them to engineering and leadership.
  • Experience with customer conversations, partner relationships, industry events, and public product representation.
  • Ability to translate partner and customer feedback into clear requirements and a prioritized roadmap.
  • Ability to work in fast-moving environments with high ownership and limited hand-holding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting roadmap strategy and trade-offs to engineering leaders and executives.
  • Background working with open-source software or developer-focused products.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience as an integration or ecosystem product manager, engineer, or solutions architect.
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse or databases such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Experience working in remote, multi-time-zone environments.

Benefits

  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment.
  • Employer healthcare contributions.
  • Company stock options for new team members.
  • Flexible time off in the United States and generous entitlement in other countries.
  • $500 home office setup allowance for remote employees.
