Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Link team builds a global consumer network for next-generation commerce, using its base of more than 300 million registered consumers to develop products spanning identity, consumer finance, and AI-driven transactions. The team is building Link as a wallet for the internet and expanding its capabilities beyond checkout.

You will work closely with product, engineering, design, and brand partners to shape the future of Link. You will help build fast, convenient, and powerful checkout experiences, explore features that expand Link's reach and consumer value, and maintain a distinctive visual identity and end-to-end consumer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design delightful, high-quality consumer checkout experiences across mobile and desktop.
• Define and solve user problems by translating research insights and product goals into clear, well-crafted design solutions.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to design, build, and ship high-quality user-facing experiences.
• Collaborate with Brand Studio to maintain a cohesive visual identity across Link's surfaces.
• Contribute to Link's design system and help evolve scalable product patterns.
• Present and share work regularly in design reviews, building feedback loops with design and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant design experience at a consumer technology company.
• Strong visual design, interaction design, and prototyping skills, demonstrated through a portfolio spanning desktop and mobile.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams throughout the full product development cycle.
• Experience contributing to a design system by proposing, refining, or documenting reusable components and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to design and prototype in code.
• Strong independence and the ability to advocate for a broader design vision with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to simplify complex problems into the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use.
• Skill in explaining work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and using feedback to improve outcomes.
