NVIDIA is seeking a generative AI researcher to join the fundamental generative AI research team at NVIDIA Research. The team develops generative AI methods for text, image, video, 3D, and scientific applications, including GenAI for science. The role focuses on fundamental research, with the opportunity to develop novel models, publish original work, and create real-world impact in a collaborative research environment.

Responsibilities

Research, design, and implement novel, large-scale generative AI methods.
Publish original research.
Collaborate with team members, research teams, and product teams.
Speak at conferences and events.
Transfer technology to product groups.

Requirements

Completing or recently completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of generative AI.
Experience building generative models for text, image, 3D, video, multimodal, biology, chemistry, or material science data.
Excellent programming skills in prototyping environments such as Python; experience with C++ and parallel programming, such as CUDA.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
An outstanding research track record.
Excellent communication skills.
