Details

This role focuses on coding, architecture, and creating models for hardware. You will help build and improve the modelling infrastructure for GPU and SOC models, transforming software development on NVIDIA hardware for the company and its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools, libraries, and environments to model and simulate next-generation chip architectures.
  • Support architecture and engineering teams by enabling them to build models on top of the modelling environment.
  • Implement solutions to complex modelling problems using SystemC, C++, and computer architecture expertise.
  • Guide and influence teams modelling GPU features, helping them use the environment's capabilities to build efficient hardware models.
  • Document, develop, and build tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in the field.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and C.
  • Solid understanding of build systems, including CMake and make; toolchains, including GCC and MSVC; and libraries, including STL and Boost.
  • Proven background in computer architecture, with experience in modelling using SystemC and Transaction-Level Modelling (TLM).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and constructively within a distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing simulation models for major chip projects within the chip or EDA industry.
  • Familiarity with simulation and modelling tools from major EDA vendors.
  • Experience collaborating with teams across different time zones, demonstrating a global perspective and adaptability.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4 and USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
