Details

NVIDIA's team develops and supports infrastructure tools used by design engineers for building and verifying architectural, RTL, and gate-level designs. The software engineer will develop highly efficient software to automate and facilitate chip design and verification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build reliable, scalable, high-performance software that is easy to use by hundreds of engineers worldwide.
  • Develop software tools in C++ and Golang to analyze and construct chip designs described in C++, Verilog, or domain-specific languages (DSLs).
  • Research and develop software solutions that improve efficiency for architecture, hardware, and software teams.
  • Optimize the daily workflows of chip modelers and designers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of software development experience. A master's degree or PhD is preferred.
  • Experience with C++ or Golang and Unix/Linux.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, computer architecture, and computer science theory.
  • Experience with VLSI front-end design and verification.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when working in a global and dynamic environment with different frameworks and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of architecture and RTL design.
  • Strong expertise in modern C++, compilers, build systems, and databases.
  • Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3, or USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4, depending on location, experience, and compensation of employees in similar positions.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
