Senior Data Center Capacity Delivery Manager

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Data Center Capacity Delivery Manager to lead partners delivering leased and partnered data center capacity. The role works at the intersection of real estate, construction, and AI infrastructure, ensuring rapid delivery, safe construction sites, finished quality, deal readiness, operational handoff, and infrastructure readiness for training and deploying frontier AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and influence site culture, execution speed, and outcomes across one or more project sites, with site presence expected 60% or more of the time.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across the cross-functional elements of data center delivery and improve the capabilities of development partners, general contractors, and key trades.
• Validate transaction readiness from Letter of Intent through lease execution, ensuring predevelopment, planning, technical, and business requirements are met.
• Act as Anthropic's primary point of contact for landlords and developers after deal completion.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, track construction progress, and facilitate information exchange between development partners and Anthropic teams.
• Represent Anthropic in technical and operational decisions while ensuring infrastructure requirements are met.
• Drive handoffs to operational readiness, collaborating closely with networking and deployment teams to enable rapid workload turn-ups and minimize time to production.
• Prepare executive reporting on facility development progress, capacity planning, and strategic decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting timelines, costs, or technical requirements.
• Develop standardized facility-delivery processes and playbooks as Anthropic scales its infrastructure footprint.

Requirements

• 10+ years of senior site leadership experience managing data center delivery, construction projects, or large-scale infrastructure deployment.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end data center development process, including entitlements and permitting, planning and supply chain, execution, commissioning, and handover.
• Ability to make decisions and guide delivery execution across external partners with minimal processes and tools.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and take ownership of project outcomes.
• Comfortable working on construction sites with trades and with executives at development and contractor partners.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Understanding of AI/ML infrastructure requirements, including high-density power and advanced cooling systems.
• Leadership experience as a General Superintendent or Project Manager within a general contractor or EPC on hyperscale data center projects, or in self-performance of hyperscale data center development projects.
• Experience creating high-performing cultures across diverse job sites.
• Familiarity with lease negotiations, construction contracts, and real estate development processes.
