Details

NVIDIA is looking for a Data Center System Architect to help define and design products for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and other data center markets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture for data center systems, from the chip through the full data center.
  • Work with silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to build a roadmap guiding the development of future NVIDIA products.
  • Analyze the performance, power, and cost of different solutions to inform architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA’s key customers and system development partners to align on consistent strategies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure industry roadmaps align with NVIDIA’s needs.
  • Work across engineering and operations teams to define and execute systems from concept through large-scale production deployments.
  • Monitor competitive solutions and track industry developments and trends.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with complex data center systems.
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and server design, including mechanical, power, and thermal considerations, as well as the interaction between server architecture and data center deployment at scale.
  • Hands-on experience solving complex problems spanning software and hardware.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A master’s degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large projects involving the co-development of custom processors or accelerators, systems, and software.
  • Familiarity with GPU computing and NVIDIA networking.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations processes.
  • Experience with data center and cloud server deployment operations.
  • Passion for technology and a strong commitment to the work.
