Physical AI and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are key markets for NVIDIA. Researchers and developers actively embrace full-stack optimizations to accelerate their workloads and research. NVIDIA leads a series of hackathons and bootcamps with its partners to help them adopt accelerated computing. These typically week-long intensive coding sessions bring experienced mentors together with researchers and data scientists to accelerate or optimize projects using accelerated infrastructure and enterprise-grade software across programming models, frameworks, and tools.

The Senior Developer Advocate Engineer will own technical engagements for a growing program of Open Hackathons and Bootcamps focused on AI in Physical AI and Robotics. The role involves helping developers adopt the NVIDIA accelerated computing stack, including CPU and GPU technologies, optimizing code and AI workflows, building a community, developing partner relationships, mentoring at hackathons, and creating educational materials.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current with developments in robotics, physical AI, digital twins, and related technologies, and develop proof-of-concept solutions for real-world applications.
  • Build and refine training materials and mentor team members using NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Cosmos, and related stacks to create simulations, digital twins, and robotics workflows.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA product teams and provide feedback regarding product adoption, bugs, feature requests, and other activities through the hackathon program.
  • Promote hackathon outcomes by publishing blogs and papers, facilitating presentations, and using other media.
  • Mentor developers and researchers integrating NVIDIA technology using Omniverse, Cosmos, synthetic data, and coding-agent-assisted digital twin workflows.
  • Help define architectures, compute footprints, test plans, and rollout strategies.
  • Strategize, identify, and assess potential sites, mentors, and key applications for Open Hackathons and Bootcamps.
  • Assess computing and software infrastructure for each hackathon.
  • Write comprehensive internal feedback reports and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant enterprise experience developing robotics, physical AI, digital twins, simulation, or automotive/autonomous vehicle solutions at scale, including synthetic data generation, evaluation, benchmarking, inference optimization, and deployment.
  • Fluency with the NVIDIA accelerated computing stack for HPC and AI workloads.
  • Ability to think strategically while handling day-to-day event and account management.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment and lead change through multifunctional teamwork.
  • Proven ability to understand partners' goals and turn feedback into action plans addressing core needs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying and managing data center-scale applications with Omniverse, Cosmos, or embodied AI toolchains.
  • Active open-source contributions in robotics, simulation, physical AI, 3D perception, or autonomy infrastructure.
  • Experience facilitating and instructing group training events.

Compensation

The base salary range is USD 200,000–322,000, determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
