The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build how developers and AI agents access Nebius's agentic web infrastructure. This role is based in the New York office and is hybrid with the NYC team.

The team owns the main API gateway, customer platform features such as keys, usage, and teams, identity and enterprise SSO, and public developer interfaces including SDKs, CLI tools, MCP servers, and documentation. You will work closely with product, design, and engineers across R&D.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship features end to end, from the interface to the underlying services and data.
• Build and improve a high-traffic, low-latency, reliable API gateway.
• Turn usage, billing, and team data into fast, usable interfaces with tables, charts, filters, and forms.
• Shape the self-serve journey from signup through activation.
• Build and operate identity and team access in production using OAuth, OIDC, role-based access, SAML SSO, and SCIM, with providers such as Auth0, Okta, WorkOS, or Clerk.
• Control feature access using feature flags for staged rollouts and entitlements after rollout.
• Improve public interfaces used by developers and agents, including SDKs, CLI tools, MCP servers, and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience on customer-facing products or high-throughput APIs, in any combination of frontend and backend work.
• Strong backend engineering skills, ideally with Python. Experience with Go, C++, or C together with some Python experience is also suitable.
• Experience building and operating latency-sensitive, high-QPS APIs, including caching, asynchronous work, queues, retries, rate limiting, long-running jobs, and webhooks.
• Experience shipping production user interfaces with a modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, or TanStack, ideally using TypeScript.
• Experience building data-heavy interfaces such as tables, charts, and filters that remain fast.
• Ability to work effectively in mature, user-facing systems, including ramping up in complex codebases, shipping safely under real traffic, and participating in on-call duties.
• Strong product and design sense for both interfaces and APIs.
• Ability to take work from design through production, explain trade-offs clearly, navigate ambiguity, and use AI tools during development.

Strong candidates may also have:

• Led a project or mentored others.
• Taken a product from inception to launch.
• Built API-key issuance and lifecycle management.
• Built MCP servers or tools for AI agents.
• Worked on billing or usage metering with Stripe, Metronome, Orb, or similar systems.
