Details

The NVIDIA GPU Architecture group is seeking a Senior GPU & Deep Learning Architect to design and enhance GPU architecture features focused on deep learning workloads (training and inference). The role involves working with world-class architects and researchers to build simulators, map deep learning workloads to current and future hardware, and validate new architectural features.

Responsibilities

  • Design new hardware features for future processing architectures targeted at deep learning workloads (training and inference).
  • Advance the state of parallel computation and evaluate impacts of future parallel programming models on hardware.
  • Develop software for hardware simulators, test infrastructures, and metrics systems (including databases).
  • Work in teams to document, design, develop tools to analyze and simulate, validate, and verify functional or performance models.
  • Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new graphics or parallel processing architectures.
  • Work across simulators, RTL, and real silicon; be hands-on with validation and verification tasks.

Requirements

  • MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience in GPU or other parallel programming architectures (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with hardware targeted at deep learning or mapping deep learning algorithms to hardware.
  • Strong programming ability in C, C++, Perl, and Python.
  • Background in computer architecture, parallel processing, signal processing, and/or high performance computing.
  • Experience developing or using hardware simulators, test infrastructures, metrics systems and databases.
  • Experience with RTL and hardware validation/verification.
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms and attention mechanisms is a strong plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and internal pay equity.
  • Base salary ranges provided: Level 4 — 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD; Level 5 — 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD.
  • Eligibility for equity and additional benefits (see NVIDIA benefits page).

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until December 8, 2025.

NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse work environment.
