Senior Network Engineer, System Verification

We are looking for a Network/Storage Test Engineer to join the End-to-End Cloud Solutions team. You will be part of the E2E Verification team, testing and helping define Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC and switch features and topologies that enable NVIDIA products to meet growing market demands. The ideal candidate will contribute to testing and defining industry-leading networking systems and quickly learn new features, technologies, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design reviews and product feature requirements across the Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC and switch portfolio.
• Design and build test topologies for appropriate product coverage, with an emphasis on emulating large-scale and complex customer environments.
• Design tests, mentor the testing automation team, and implement tests for new features within NVIDIA's network switch and adapter division.
• Prepare and deploy proof-of-concept activities based on evolving field demands.
• Generate comprehensive test reports during release execution, assist with reproducing and debugging complex customer use cases, and determine root causes.
• Act as the engineering point of contact for complete verification cycles of customer use cases, including fixes provided by the R&D team.
• Execute end-to-end test scenarios covering regression, performance, functional, and scale testing.
• Report testing progress and provide summaries of testing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent level of experience as an IT or Network Engineer.
• 8+ years of practical experience in the domain.
• Significant hands-on experience with Linux-based platforms.
• Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently.
• Outstanding technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly while planning and completing assignments.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization technologies, including KVM, Hyper-V, VMware, OpenStack, and Kubernetes.
• Background with NAS and/or SAN storage systems.
• Scripting experience with Bash and Python.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $184,000–$287,500 for Level 4 or $224,000–$356,500 for Level 5, determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions.
