NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to implement and maintain robust security across on-premises and cloud environments supporting business verticals spanning graphics drivers, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. The role will lead the deployment and management of critical security infrastructure, including next-generation firewalls, load balancers, and advanced threat detection systems, while safeguarding hybrid cloud and on-premises networks and driving organizational compliance.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in multi-cloud architectures and cybersecurity, experience supporting large-scale, highly available networks, and hands-on experience operating in hyperscale environments. This role requires decisive problem-solving and the ability to work with urgency in fast-paced infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the network architecture team to review and provide feedback on network designs.
• Lead the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of firewall, load-balancing, and IDS/IPS solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Use telemetry and advanced analytics to improve network observability and proactive threat detection.
• Define and maintain comprehensive security guidelines for on-premises and cloud deployments in alignment with compliance and defense-in-depth standards.
• Orchestrate vulnerability management, including patching and bug scrubs, to proactively eliminate potential threat vectors.
• Design Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and controls for services owned and operated by the global networking team.
• Participate in security reviews and ACL approvals to support safe, efficient, and resilient network operations.
• Lead incident response by investigating security alerts, conducting root cause analysis, and executing remediation plans in alignment with security incident-handling frameworks.
• Partner with the global operations team to provide operational tools, documentation, and actionable information for rapid first response to network and security incidents.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in secure cloud-native and hybrid network architectures across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in securely deploying and managing FortiGate and FortiManager, Arista, Cisco, and Cumulus OS devices.
• Operational knowledge of IDS/IPS, SSL inspection, URL filtering, and anti-malware and bot-mitigation technologies.
• Strong understanding of network virtualization technologies, including VRFs and VxLAN, and cloud-provider-specific virtualized firewall deployments.
• Proficiency with dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
• Experience managing logging pipelines and telemetry tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
• At least 8 years of dedicated network security experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with global security teams.

Additional Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in OCI, GCP, AWS, and Azure cybersecurity frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Mellanox, Cumulus OS, and network routing paradigms.
• Ability to use Python, shell scripting, and AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to build automation, frameworks, and operational dashboards.
• Demonstrated success designing and securing hyperscale network environments.
• Passion for driving progress through the adoption of emerging technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range of $168,000–$264,500 for Level 4.
• Base salary range of $208,000–$333,500 for Level 5.
• Salary is determined based on location, experience, and compensation of employees in similar positions.
• Eligible for equity and benefits.
