Details

NVIDIA's Deep Learning Libraries Group is seeking software engineers to enable the next wave of NVIDIA's high-performing deep learning libraries, including cuDNN and FlashInfer. The role spans multiple products and involves designing and developing scalable, modular infrastructure that streamlines development, build, and testing across NVIDIA's platforms, from datacenters to autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for testing and analyzing codebases.
  • Build scalable automation for build, test, integration, and release processes for publicly distributed deep learning libraries.
  • Develop throughout the software stack, from the user experience down to cluster and database layers.
  • Configure, maintain, and build upon industry-standard tools including Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, CMake, GitLab, and Jira.
  • Advance these tools and upstream contributions to the open-source community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a higher degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language, with familiarity with C/C++ development.
  • Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems.
  • Proficiency with source-control management systems such as Git and Perforce, and build systems such as Make, CMake, and Bazel.
  • A pragmatic, collaborative approach to problem-solving and a passion for reliable automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and developing automation with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Background with distributed systems and cluster or cloud computing, including Slurm, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing and developing unit and integration test frameworks, including hands-on experience with code coverage and static code analysis tools.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers or actively contributing to software projects involving many developers.
  • Knowledge of GPU computing systems and experience with mobile or embedded platforms and multiple operating systems, including Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, and L4T.
  • A track record of identifying useful technologies and incorporating them into software development workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary depends on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4 and USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
