If you're passionate about autonomous vehicles, NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicles Product/Program Management team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end development of new autonomous driving features. The role is responsible for software development execution of NVIDIA's autonomous driving software stack and involves collaboration with automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and startups.
Responsibilities
- Lead automotive software development across multiple engineering teams working on ADAS and autonomy features.
- Work with engineering leads to define products and roadmaps, develop schedules, and drive execution and tracking across the organization.
- Coordinate release content and efforts with multiple program managers and engineering managers responsible for individual components.
- Establish metrics to assess and improve product quality and execution.
- Develop a strong technical understanding of the software stack to proactively identify and address technical challenges.
- Resolve issues affecting scope, schedule, and quality.
- Regularly communicate program status and key issues to management and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in a similar or related role.
- Experience planning and executing complex software engineering projects and delivering new products or features to users.
- Proven experience in automotive, robotics, and/or artificial intelligence.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate on global projects across large organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience leading the end-to-end development of ADAS, autonomous vehicles, and/or machine learning systems.
- Experience with Jira and/or Jama, including the ability to guide engineering teams in using these tools.
- Experience with startups and/or early-stage products.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range of $168,000–$258,750 USD for Level 4.
- Base salary range of $200,000–$322,000 USD for Level 5.
- Base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
