About the Role
Software Engineers at Sentry write production code on real projects used by millions of developers. New graduates will join an SDK, Product, or Ingest team based on their interests and experience.
SDK teams build software used inside frameworks, while Ingest teams work on pipelines—including the open-source Relay and Symbolicator projects—that process millions of events every minute. New graduate onboarding includes comprehensive training, dedicated mentorship, social events, and a community of peers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship features and systems that provide value to customers.
- Own projects end-to-end, from design through production.
- Work with SDK, Product, or Ingest teams based on interests and experience.
- Receive ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentorship from managers and teammates.
Requirements
- Recently completed or currently completing an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least one previous internship or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures fundamentals.
- Experience using GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and code review.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or a similar dynamic language through internships, personal projects, or coursework.
- Ability to quickly learn and use new languages or frameworks.
- Experience collaborating on an engineering project through coursework, open source, or professional work.
- Available to start in 2027 and able to relocate to Vienna, Austria.
- This is a full-time position.
- Visa sponsorship is considered on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: EUR 75,000–80,000 gross per year, plus equity.
- The legally required minimum wage for this position is EUR 43,456 gross per year under the applicable IT collective agreement.
