Details

You'll provide frontline operational support across two exchanges: the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE) and Deribit. The team operates 24/7 to keep trading, clearing, and connectivity systems healthy for clients and internal stakeholders. You'll troubleshoot issues in real time, coordinate cross-functional resolution for complex problems, and execute deployment testing to protect production environments.

Responsibilities

Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit.
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology.
Provide front-line support for internal and external investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products, implement platform updates, and execute deployment testing in pre-production environments.
Support onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges, including prediction markets and event contracts listed on CDE.
Identify, document, and recommend operational process improvements aligned with business objectives and platform growth.

Requirements

BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field, with at least 1 year of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role.
Demonstrated product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options, including hands-on experience with error trade analysis and resolution.
Ability to diagnose and articulate complex technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience delivering multi-channel support through voice, email, and chat, with a documented ability to maintain quality under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.
Familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, or CRM tools such as Salesforce and JIRA is a plus.
Responsible use of generative AI, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Work Arrangement

Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only, company. The team meets quarterly for in-person working sessions called “surges.” This team operates 24/7.

Compensation

The target annual base salary range, excluding equity and bonus, is SGD 117,420–123,600. Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
