Details

Anthropic is seeking growth engineers to help drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization through data-driven strategies and technical implementations. The role involves collaborating with engineers, data scientists, marketers, and product managers to design, implement, and optimize growth initiatives for AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical solutions supporting user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth.
Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to optimize user onboarding, feature adoption, subscription conversion, and the overall product experience.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and translate them into technical requirements.
Analyze user behavior and metrics to identify patterns, opportunities, and strategies for product growth and monetization.

Requirements

Experience working on user growth, including acquisition, activation, retention, or monetization, or experience in a revenue-focused organization such as advertising.
Full-stack development experience, including web development with React and backend development.
Experience with data analysis and experimentation frameworks.
A data-driven approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to identify patterns and opportunities in user behavior and metrics.
Passion for the potential of AI to reach and benefit a wide audience, with an interest in scaling AI products.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work closely with cross-functional partners and teammates.
Preferred: 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Preferred: Ability to develop experiments that drive user growth or monetization.
Preferred: Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities.
Preferred: Vision for the future of AI product growth and the drive to realize that vision.
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required. The field of study must be relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Work Policy

Staff are currently expected to work from one of Anthropic's offices at least 25% of the time, although some roles may require more time in the office.
