Details
Anthropic’s GTM Strategy & Operations, Frontier team coordinates how the company’s AI research reaches the market. The role supports commercial model and product launches, compute-capacity allocation across customers and surfaces, and the translation of market and customer learnings into actionable insights for Research, Product, Finance, and GTM leadership.
The position runs high-stakes cross-functional programs, authors strategic analyses and executive readouts, and develops repeatable launch and operating methodologies. It reports to the Global Head of GTM Strategy & Operations, Frontier, and works across GTM, Applied AI, Product, Research, Security & Safeguards, Finance, and Compute.
Responsibilities
Run launches
- Serve as the GTM directly responsible individual for product and model launches.
- Own pre-launch account selection, coordinate field readiness across scaled pre- and post-sales teams, and run the launch-week operating room.
- Synthesize customer adoption signals, including usage patterns, migration behavior, and qualitative field feedback, into actionable executive readouts.
- Design and run the field response loop for capturing, triaging, and routing feedback from account executives, Customer Success, Applied AI, and customers.
Evolve the NPI methodology
- Design and iterate GTM’s new product introduction methodology across standard releases and managed-access programs.
- Define operating cadence, field-team roles and handoffs, and launch-readiness standards.
- Lead the executive reporting cadence for launches, including reporting content, frequency, and methods for making adoption trends legible during and after launch.
Partner across the company
- Act as GTM’s primary interface to Product Strategy & Operations and Research on launch planning.
- Coordinate commercial readiness with product and model readiness.
- Work with Sales Strategy & Operations, Applied AI, and Customer Success on field execution across segments and regions.
- Partner with Capacity teams on rate limits, provisioning, capacity planning for account cohorts, and capacity-efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate on protect-play targeting, sequencing, and post-launch competitive response.
Requirements
- Experience in product operations, product marketing operations, release management, management consulting, or GTM strategy and operations.
- Experience building and running high-stakes, operations-heavy programs with many cross-functional dependencies at a high-velocity product company.
- Track record of turning effective ad hoc execution into repeatable, scaled methodologies.
- Ability to balance business, safety, and repeatability considerations.
- Experience writing for and presenting to senior executives, including producing executive readouts and working with Product, Research, and Finance leaders.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to design metrics and reporting, distinguish signal from noise in early adoption data, and work with analytics engineering teams on fit-for-purpose data design.
- Strong ownership and ability to drive outcomes across organizational boundaries.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical foundation, including SQL, code-level data proficiency, sophisticated modeling in Sheets or Excel, and experience with BI tools such as Looker or BigQuery.
- Experience at an AI, developer-tools, API-first, or B2B SaaS company, preferably with consumption-based pricing.
- Familiarity with commercial roles such as sales, revenue operations, or product marketing, or with product management.
- Familiarity with safety, trust and safety, or security-review processes in a product context.
- Demonstrated success operating in ambiguity at a rapidly changing company.
