Details

NVIDIA is developing the next generation of computing systems for AI, self-driving cars, and other accelerated computing applications. As a Tegra System Software Engineer, you will contribute to systems and software powering NVIDIA's Tegra platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain system software for ARM's Trusted Firmware Stack, including Hafnium, TF-A, and RMM.
  • Work with next-generation CPU architectures for the Tegra platform.
  • Collaborate with the upstream community to develop software for ARM technologies such as Confidential Compute.
  • Help drive improvements to specifications including PSCI, FFA, and RMI.
  • Solve complex power, performance, and security issues in the Trusted Firmware Stack.
  • Participate in architectural explorations, including feasibility studies, safety evaluations, and CPU performance analysis.
  • Perform development and bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SoC hardware and systems.
  • Develop highly performant low-level device drivers for NVIDIA Tegra platforms.
  • Review architecture documents and take designs from specification through productization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with embedded systems and device driver development.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
  • Deep understanding of operating system fundamentals and computer architecture concepts, including MMU, cache coherency, TLBs, timers, and interrupt service routines (ISRs).
  • Knowledge of ARM trusted components, bootloaders, hypervisors, or UEFI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety and security standards such as ISO 26262, CERT C, and MISRA C is a plus.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Proficiency in using agentic AI tools to produce high-quality and performant systems.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base salary range for Level 2: USD 124,000–195,500 per year.
  • Base salary range for Level 3: USD 152,000–241,500 per year.
  • Eligible employees may also receive equity and benefits.
