Details

NVIDIA's Cryptographic Services team implements and operates a hardware-rooted cryptographic asset lifecycle platform that serves as the system of record for keys, certificates, and PKI chains. The technical engineering lead will advance the platform across technology, processes, and people while enabling self-service without compromising security controls.

Responsibilities

Build a cryptographic asset registry, including key and certificate inventory, lifecycle tracking, and user interfaces.
Implement telemetry, audit evidence, and policy-based authorization for sensitive material.
Own signing flows end to end, including job type design, API and CLI surfaces, and customer experience.
Support post-quantum production signing, including ML-DSA dual signing with HSM-backed keys, LMS software keys, and hybrid flows.
Build agent-assisted self-service workflows while maintaining appropriate human-in-the-loop controls.
Measure outcomes such as deflection rate, time to first signature, and onboarding time.
Provide proactive communication to customers working to fixed silicon schedules.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience building and operating production software, including ownership of a service with real availability expectations.
Strong hands-on engineering experience with Python, Java, Go, or similar technologies across the full stack of a cloud service.
Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, key management, digital signatures, and HSM-backed systems.
Practical experience applying AI and agentic workflows to engineering problems, with an understanding of their appropriate use.
Clear written communication and proactive working habits.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with code signing, HSM-backed key management, or software supply chain security.
Experience replacing ticket-driven processes with self-service and measuring the resulting impact.
Interest in growing into broader technical leadership.

Additional Information

The base salary range is USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4 and USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5. Salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
