Anthropic is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support critical cloud deployments and drive coordination across engineering teams and major cloud partners, including Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex, and Microsoft Foundry. The role focuses on technical execution, cloud AI deployments, launch readiness, and optimizing the performance of Anthropic's AI models on third-party platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering leaders to define, scope, and sequence major technical initiatives for cloud partnerships and AI model deployment.
  • Own plans, timelines, and resourcing for technical initiatives.
  • Own launch readiness for Claude models on partner cloud platforms, including checklists, blocker tracking, joint go/no-go decisions, and post-launch stability follow-through.
  • Act as the primary technical interface to cloud partner engineering organizations, owning relationships, shared roadmaps, and day-to-day coordination on deployment, capacity, and incidents.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across internal engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to deliver joint partner initiatives.
  • Provide clear and transparent reporting on program status, issues, and risks to executives and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in technical program management and a track record of delivering complex technical programs, preferably involving cloud platforms and AI technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing architectures, AI/ML deployment, and integration challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority and build cross-organizational support.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution.
  • Ability to bring order to chaos in fast-paced, scaling environments.
  • Passion for Anthropic's mission and commitment to safe AI development.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Additional Qualifications

  • Direct experience with a hyperscaler's managed AI platform, such as Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Azure AI Foundry, including partner listing, launch, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Background in ML inference, model serving infrastructure, or accelerator-based compute.
  • Experience owning joint engineering roadmaps or dependency tracking, driving incident follow-through, and converting open issues into prioritized plans.
  • Experience with release engineering, deployment automation, or CI/CD for systems shipped to multiple targets or environments.

Benefits

Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.
