AI Product Manager, Professional Services

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Global Transformation Team leads programs that transform how Professional Services works, including making ProServ AI-native, building a prescriptive methodology that scales worldwide, and creating knowledge systems that improve every engagement.

As AI Product Manager for Professional Services, you will own the roadmap that makes ProServ AI-native, working at the intersection of AI strategy, engineering execution, and organizational change. You will operate with significant autonomy and ambiguity, influencing without authority and translating strategic intent into delivery.

Responsibilities

Own the AI Product Roadmap

• Understand the needs of Professional Services users by working with teams, identifying patterns in feedback, and analyzing data.
• Translate user needs into an AI strategy and prioritized, executable product roadmap.
• Align roadmap decisions with broader transformation objectives in partnership with the ProServ leadership team.
• Track progress, surface blockers, and maintain momentum across concurrent workstreams.

Coordinate a Global Community of Subject-Matter Experts

• Manage and motivate a distributed network of contributing engineers and consultants across geographies who contribute to AI initiatives without reporting directly to you.
• Structure contributions into meaningful, well-scoped workstreams with clear ownership and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing Product investments in AI rather than building from scratch.

Drive AI Execution and Adoption

• Work with the team to ensure new AI tools and capabilities are adopted globally.
• Develop frameworks and playbooks that help Professional Services teams embed AI into their day-to-day work.
• Surface insights from the field and incorporate them into the product roadmap.
• Move with urgency, take action, and iterate rather than waiting for perfect alignment.

Govern and Communicate AI Initiatives

• Prepare and present updates to the AI Steering Committee, including the global Head of Professional Services.
• Maintain clear documentation, decision logs, and progress tracking across AI workstreams.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and communicate trade-offs clearly.

Requirements

Technical Credibility

• Strong technical foundation sufficient to participate effectively in engineering conversations and understand what is being built, why it is being built, and what good looks like.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, tooling, and the current landscape, including agentic AI, large language models, and workflow automation.
• Experience working alongside engineers and earning their respect.

Strategic and Organizational Thinking

• Ability to connect day-to-day execution to a longer-term strategic narrative.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where little exists.
• Experience in transformation, consulting, or change management environments is a strong plus.
• This is not a purely technical product management role.

Influence and Interpersonal Intelligence

• Exceptional ability to influence without authority across geographies, seniority levels, and functions.
• Political awareness and the ability to navigate competing agendas and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to build communities and bring energy and momentum to cross-functional groups.

Communication and Presence

• Confidence translating complex technical data into executive insights.
• Strong written communication skills for documentation, updates, and asynchronous collaboration across time zones.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business contexts.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a product, transformation, technical consulting, or similar role.
• Experience in a global SaaS, technology, or professional services environment is preferred.
• Non-traditional backgrounds are welcome; the company values how candidates think and operate more than the title on their CV.
