Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Cash Platform team is part of Stripe's Money Movement Services Platform and manages Stripe's FX and cash positions globally. The team focuses on delivering FX trades and optimizing the cost and routing of cross-border payouts. Stripe's in-house bank enables near-instant movement of funds across accounts worldwide, and the Cash Platform team is central to bringing this infrastructure to Stripe's products and customers.

This role is open to remote candidates located anywhere within the Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

Understand the competitive landscape and define benchmarks for Stripe's FX and cross-border payout products.
Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Cash Platform, balancing short-term cost and performance optimization with longer-term platform monetization opportunities.
Drive API design and technical decisions in partnership with engineering leads, ensuring infrastructure is best-in-class and commercially oriented.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across Money Movement, Sales, and partner teams to accelerate delivery and adoption of FX and payout products.
Engage with senior customer and internal stakeholders to communicate roadmap direction, surface requirements, and build alignment.
Own decisions that directly affect the revenue and cost profile of Stripe's money movement business.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience.
Strong technical foundation, ideally as a former engineer or data scientist, with the ability to own API design decisions and understand systems end-to-end, including cost and latency considerations.
Business-minded approach focused on revenue and commercial impact in infrastructure products.
Ability to coordinate closely across engineering, finance, legal, compliance, and sales teams.
Experience with FX, cross-border payments, treasury, or similar financial infrastructure, ideally at companies such as Airwallex, Wise, Revolut, Payoneer, Ramp, or a major financial institution.
Strong execution skills, including the ability to manage complexity across multiple workstreams and deliver in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate status, blockers, and next steps to partners, stakeholders, and leaders.
