Details

At Nord Security, the Data Analyst (Finance) will help automate finance data processes, improve data quality, and support collaboration between Data Engineering, Finance, and Accounting teams. The role focuses on building reliable data models and flows for reporting, reconciliation, controls, and audit purposes.

Responsibilities

Automate recurring finance data processes, including reconciliation and reporting, to reduce manual work and support roadmap projects.
Build and maintain dbt models.
Own data quality and controls by implementing automated checks for completeness and accuracy, anomaly detection, and monitoring and alerting.
Work with Data Engineers, Finance, and Accounting teams to gather data requirements, establish validation rules, and align processes across systems.
Generate regular reports, document resolutions, and maintain process documentation for audit and team reference.
Integrate new product data into existing data flows.

Requirements

Excellent, proven SQL skills, including the ability to write understandable, maintainable, and efficient SQL commands.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst.
Proficiency in data modeling and data transformation techniques.
Good understanding of dbt.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from different teams.
