Details

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform supporting developers and enterprises from data and model training through production deployment. The platform includes large-scale GPU orchestration, inference optimization, compute, storage, networking, and applied AI.

As a Data Center Technician, you will maintain and optimize IT infrastructure within the data center, working hands-on with technologies such as the H200 GPU cloud cluster. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, perform hardware and network diagnostics, carry out physical repairs, and help ensure the smooth operation of critical systems. This is a shift-based, on-site role that may require occasional travel between data center locations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve IT hardware issues while supporting the data center's IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to address technical and operational challenges.
  • Install, upgrade, and dismantle hardware based on operational requests and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain fiber optic cables and patch-cord connectivity.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor regular IT tasks to maintain and improve infrastructure operations.
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in accordance with established manuals and procedures.
  • Develop clear documentation and manuals for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including teams and executives.
  • Lead and manage specific workflows, processes, and projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues.
  • Solid understanding of data center operations and server and network equipment principles.
  • Basic proficiency with the Linux operating system and command-line tools.
  • Practical experience with server IT hardware, enterprise-grade network switches, and fiber optic cables.
  • Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, lists, and graph creation.
  • A proactive, responsible, and goal-oriented approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driving license.
  • Project planning skills.

Location and Work Schedule

  • On-site at the Kansas City, Missouri data center.
  • Shift-based role with occasional travel between data center locations.

Compensation

  • Base compensation range: $30–$45 USD per hour.
