Details
Anthropic is seeking a Data Engineer to join the GTM Systems data foundations team. The role will build data products and infrastructure that provide sellers, operators, and analysts with a current and trusted view of the market. You will treat go-to-market data as both a product and a platform, partnering with Sales Strategy and Operations, Finance, Data Science, and central data engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Bring together disparate internal and external sources by orchestrating, modeling, and normalizing first-party product and revenue data with third-party data.
- Build and maintain identity and entity resolution systems so sources are connected to trusted company records and relationships.
- Develop the canonical data layer, including shared attribute definitions, sourcing logic, provenance, and freshness.
- Create scores, signals, and AI-generated attributes to help go-to-market teams prioritize and act.
- Deliver data intelligence to team workflows, including CRM systems, and maintain production discipline across data flows.
- Operate the platform with observability, data quality, cost management, security, and access controls.
- Partner with owners of planning, segmentation, and routing processes to establish definitions, commitments, and tradeoffs.
- Make the platform easy for other teams to build on and contribute to.
Requirements
- Experience as a data engineer or analytics engineer building and operating production pipelines and data models.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience using modern transformation and orchestration tooling on a cloud data warehouse.
- Experience making data from multiple sources usable, including record matching, deduplication, and reconciliation of conflicting values.
- Familiarity with go-to-market data and CRM systems.
- Ability to evaluate data sources, shape definitions with business partners, and make decisions about data quality.
- Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical partners.
- Regular hands-on use of AI tools in engineering work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or go-to-market data roles.
- Experience building shared data products or platforms used and contributed to by multiple teams.
- Experience with firmographics, corporate hierarchies, or master data management.
- Experience using LLMs inside data pipelines and evaluating their output.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience, including work with large data volumes.
- Experience supporting go-to-market planning processes such as territory design, segmentation, or scoring.
Compensation
Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD.
