Details

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform for data and model training through production deployment. The company develops infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, GPU orchestration, inference optimization, and applied AI.

This role is part of the Developer Relations and Community team and focuses specifically on the North America region. The position reports to the Head of Developer Community and collaborates with regional community managers, digital marketing, developer relations, developer advocates, product marketing, and broader ecosystem teams.

Responsibilities

Local Community Activation

  • Build and grow a high-quality local developer community of AI builders, engineers, and technical founders.
  • Identify key hubs, communities, and influential builders in the region.
  • Establish Nebius as a trusted, high-signal local presence.
  • Represent Nebius at events, meetups, and within the ecosystem.

Events and Programs

  • Plan and execute meetups, workshops, hackathons, and community events.
  • Partner with community groups, universities, and developer groups.
  • Ensure events are practical, hands-on, and builder-first.

Fellows and Ambassador Programs

  • Identify, recruit, and support high-potential builders, creators, and community leaders.
  • Grow and manage a network of Nebius Fellows and Ambassadors across the region.
  • Enable Fellows and Ambassadors to run events, create content, and represent Nebius within their communities.
  • Build engagement programs that create long-term value for participants.
  • Help develop scalable frameworks, benefits, and best practices for global adoption.

Builder Engagement

  • Build direct relationships with top developers and emerging builders.
  • Engage communities online through platforms such as Discord, Slack, and Telegram.
  • Turn participants into repeat contributors and advocates.

Repeatable Programs

  • Turn one-off events into scalable programs, including ambassador programs, recurring meetups, and builder cohorts.
  • Develop reusable playbooks for adoption across regions.
  • Continuously experiment with and iterate on program formats.

Product and Go-to-Market Feedback

  • Bring community insights back to product, marketing, and leadership.
  • Identify trends, needs, and opportunities among developers.
  • Help shape how Nebius engages developers globally.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in community, developer marketing, events, or ecosystem roles.
  • Strong understanding of developer audiences; AI/ML, infrastructure, or adjacent experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience running ambassador and/or grassroots community programs.
  • Highly execution-driven, with the ability to move quickly from idea to event to results.
  • A strong local network or the ability to build one quickly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable representing a brand as its regional face.
  • Ability to work in a globally distributed team, with flexibility for meetings across US, European, and APAC time zones when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background or strong familiarity with AI and developer tooling.
  • Experience working with startups or developer ecosystems.
