Role Overview

Join the team behind Threat Protection Pro, the NordLynx protocol, and VPN products focused on privacy, security, and user control. This role involves owning infrastructure challenges end-to-end, from code to production and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own infrastructure challenges end-to-end, from code to production and user experience.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Docker, GitLab CI, and AWS services.
  • Ensure reliable, zero-downtime deployments across multiple environments and projects.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Improve code quality, deployment speed, and overall engineering efficiency.
  • Support and enhance release processes through automation and scripting.
  • Design and operate infrastructure for distributed, multi-tenant systems.
  • Contribute to cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure evolution using AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Document infrastructure, workflows, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve systems with a focus on security, observability, and reliability.
  • Propose and implement new ideas, tools, and improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Solid experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and networking.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of containerization with Docker.
  • Kubernetes experience is required.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language for automation tasks.
  • Understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalability principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
