Join the team behind NordVPN Threat Protection Pro, the NordLynx protocol, and NordVPN. Threat Protection enhances online security by protecting users from scams, phishing attempts, and other malicious activities, while improving privacy and web browsing by eliminating intrusive ads.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Threat Protection development team to build and automate infrastructure for the product.
  • Write scripts to expand and maintain automated code delivery and release pipelines using Docker, GitLab CI, and AWS.
  • Help build frameworks for automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, as well as set up virtual test environments and services.
  • Design and manage infrastructure for a multi-tenant distributed environment.
  • Assist with service migration to and within cloud environments, including S3, EC2, EMR, and Kubernetes.
  • Apply best practices related to infrastructure security, availability, and observability.

Requirements

  • Experience as a DevOps, systems, infrastructure, or similar engineer.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems and tools; knowledge of Windows administration is appreciated.
  • Working knowledge of Git and Git workflows.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD principles and understanding build systems and tooling, preferably Make, CMake, Conan, and Ninja.
  • Understanding of software composition principles, including compilation, linking, binary loading, and dependency management across major operating systems.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and containerization principles.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and tooling, including configuration as code with Ansible and Terraform, Dockerization, and EKS/Kubernetes.
  • An ownership mindset and a desire to understand how systems interact, including systems outside your immediate area of expertise.
  • Critical thinking, professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail.
