DevRel Engineer, Events & Community (EMEA)

Details

You can be based in Europe. The role is mainly remote, with an invitation to work from the Berlin office for 3–5 days every two months. Significant travel across Europe is expected, with occasional travel to other regions when audience quality justifies it.

The role focuses on representing Langfuse in high-signal in-person settings, making the product clear to technical audiences, and turning conversations into measurable marketing momentum. The goal is to make the right events excellent, scalable, and measurable.

Responsibilities

• Represent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer events, partner events, and community gatherings across Europe.
• Run live demos and technical sessions on tracing, evaluations, prompt management, datasets, metrics, and related LLM engineering workflows.
• Build and maintain field-ready materials, including demo flows, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event landing pages, follow-up emails, signup flows, and conference-in-a-box assets.
• Organize Langfuse-hosted meetups, workshops, dinners, and smaller technical gatherings for high-quality audiences.
• Partner with ClickHouse field marketing, sales, solutions, product marketing, and engineering teams.
• Turn event learnings into better messaging, demos, documentation, talks, customer stories, and product feedback.

Requirements

• Experience in DevRel, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.
• Experience speaking at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events.
• Experience creating technical content, demos, videos, talks, open-source projects, or educational material.
• Willingness to travel, give talks, run demos, host events, communicate with developers and technical leaders, and bring learnings back into the company.
• Interest in developer experience, open source, AI engineering, and high-quality technical communities.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in ambiguous situations without a mature playbook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.

Strong Plus

• Former engineer or deeply technical operator able to credibly explain software to experienced developers.
• Ability to write code well enough to build, debug, and maintain demos or workshop materials.
• Expertise in AI engineering, LLM observability, evaluations, agents, or developer tools.
• Original opinions valued by experienced developers.
