Details

NVIDIA is seeking a passionate Automation Engineer to join the DGX Cloud Engineering Team. DGX Cloud is a cloud platform tailored for AI tasks, enabling organizations to move AI projects from development to deployment. In this role, you will help build development and release processes for AI Factories software and maintain high standards across CI/CD, release engineering tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement scalable cloud-based systems for PaaS and IaaS.
  • Work closely with other teams on new products and improvements to existing products.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD tools for on-premises and cloud deployment of software.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and Product teams to establish, refine, and streamline the software release process.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent program from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps and deployment, including 2+ years of programming experience in Golang.
  • Understanding of cloud design, including virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, and security.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and KubeVirt.
  • Expertise in bringing up bare-metal infrastructure in a datacenter, including PXE boot, DHCP, DNS, and operating systems.
  • Experience building RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Docker and containers.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with cloud service providers, such as AWS, including Fargate, EC2, IAM, ECR, EKS, and Route 53.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a track record of solving complex problems with elegant solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience bringing up bare-metal infrastructure for high-performance computing.
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies such as Firecracker, KVM, OpenStack, Nutanix AHV, and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Demonstrated delivery of complex projects in previous roles.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range for Level 4: USD 184,000–287,500 per year.
  • Base salary range for Level 5: USD 224,000–356,500 per year.
  • Eligibility for equity and benefits.
