Details

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform supporting developers and enterprises from data and model training through production deployment. The platform includes GPU orchestration, inference optimization, compute, storage, networking, and applied AI capabilities.

The Director of Product, Ecosystem owns the external view of one or more Nebius platform layers. The role involves mapping relevant companies and ecosystem participants, engaging priority targets, prototyping partnerships on the Nebius stack, and translating external insights into platform capabilities and product decisions.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Own the ecosystem map for the assigned platform layer, including relevant companies, their products, and gaps relative to the platform strategy.
  • Define which companies to engage and why, creating a prioritized target list with a thesis for each target.
  • Translate external landscape signals into build, buy, or partner recommendations for product and executive leadership.

Sourcing

  • Lead outbound engagement with founders, operators, and investors across the ecosystem domain.
  • Build peer-level relationships with AI startup founders.
  • Identify partnership, integration, and M&A targets before they become obvious to the market.

Solutioning

  • Prototype integrations between partner products and the Nebius stack in a fast, hands-on, and technically sound manner.
  • Scope partner architectures against the Nebius platform, identifying integration points and potential limitations.
  • Define the technical narrative and reference architecture for each partnership.
  • Produce working proofs of concept as starting points for product creation.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work with ISV partners, systems integrator teams, and field teams to scale solution adoption and drive revenue once a solution is ready.
  • Use ecosystem discovery, experimentation, and prototyping as a pipeline for new platform capabilities and product development.
  • Bring outside-in market signals into the company and help leadership determine where to invest.
  • Participate in platform planning as the external voice of the ecosystem.

Platform Focus Areas

Depending on background and mutual fit, the role may own one or more of these areas:

  • Agentic: Agent frameworks, memory systems, tool integration, orchestration, and guardrails.
  • Managed Inference: Inference runtimes, model routing, optimization tooling, and serving infrastructure.
  • IaaS / Managed Infrastructure: Cloud-native integrations, GPU orchestration, sovereign cloud, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Data: Vector databases, retrieval systems, data pipelines, labeling infrastructure, and synthetic data.

Requirements

  • 8+ years operating across product strategy, business development, and ecosystem or partnership development in AI or infrastructure.
  • Deep technical fluency in at least one platform-layer domain, including an understanding of its architecture, market participants, and dynamics.
  • Genuine relationships with AI founders and venture capital investors.
  • Experience as a founder, early operator, or investor in AI or infrastructure, with an understanding of startup decision-making and platform-partner needs.
  • Ability to prototype integrations, scope partner architectures, and produce working proofs of concept independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present partnership theses credibly to product executives and startup founders.
  • Comfort building processes without an established playbook.

Additional Qualifications

  • Founded or served as an early operator at a company in one of the platform-layer domains.
  • Operated as an Entrepreneur in Residence or investing partner at a top-tier AI-focused venture capital fund.
  • Built an ecosystem or platform partnership function from scratch at a high-growth AI or infrastructure company.
  • Structured and closed technology partnerships through to a letter of intent or acquisition.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA's software stack, inference tooling, or agent development frameworks.

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families.
  • 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match and immediate vesting.
  • 20 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.
  • Remote work reimbursement of up to $85 per month for mobile and internet.
  • Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.
  • Career growth and learning opportunities.
  • Flexibility and ownership.
  • Collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects.
  • International environment and talented teams.
