Enterprise Architect / Transition Architect - Heat

Shape the technical foundation of Heat as a stand-alone organization by owning its architecture, security, service design and Transition Service Agreements (TSAs). The role has direct responsibility for architecture decisions supporting Eneco's strategic separation and transition of Heat.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the technical architecture enabling Heat's transition to a stand-alone organization.
• Design and develop Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) and the supporting service architecture.
• Provide engineering management expertise for key technical separation and stand-up decisions.
• Build, document and transfer architecture, security and service design knowledge.
• Deliver a clean, secure and defensible separation with commercially and operationally robust TSAs.
• Develop and maintain the service design and architecture knowledge required throughout the transition.
• Document current-state and future-state architecture using appropriate architecture tooling.
• Contribute to the Architecture Community of Practice by sharing insights, standards and best practices.
• Work closely with the Portfolio Lead, Transition Team, Technical Project Managers, architects, security colleagues and the Heat Value Chain.

Requirements

• Senior or Enterprise Architect with ideally 8+ years of experience bridging business, IT and OT.
• Experience delivering carve-outs, separations or major platform and organizational transitions.
• Experience in the integrated energy sector or another complex, regulated environment.
• Deep expertise in technical architecture, security architecture, service design and architecture modelling.
• Experience applying enterprise architecture standards, frameworks and modelling practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge vendors and consultants and translate their input into robust, defensible designs.
• High ownership and a strong focus on documenting and transferring knowledge.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with engineering, architecture and portfolio leadership stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English is preferred.

• Gross annual salary between €120,000 and €180,000, including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance and, depending on the role, a bonus or collective profit sharing.
