About the Role
We are looking for an experienced full stack engineer to join the ChatGPT Growth team to lead high-impact projects that amplify ChatGPT users and Plus subscribers. Projects include optimizing account access, notifications, SEO, value discovery, and virality. You will be expected to discover high-leverage opportunities, move autonomously, interpret experimental results, and remove barriers so users can get value from ChatGPT.
Responsibilities
- Drive long-term growth of ChatGPT through data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation to optimize product experiences.
- Plan and deploy backend APIs necessary to power product experiences.
- Execute projects in close collaboration with research, product, design, data science, and other product teams to achieve product goals.
- Create a diverse and inclusive culture that enables radical candor and constructive challenge of group-think.
Requirements / Who You Are
- Experienced full stack engineer with a track record of shipping web features that optimize user funnels (landing pages, product pages, purchase flows, search flows, etc.).
- Highly analytical; experienced designing and implementing A/B tests with a scientific approach to data-driven experiments and clear tracking of business metrics and KPIs.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; able to add structure when necessary.
- Curious and proactive learner who documents and shares knowledge clearly.

- Base salary range: $160K–$385K (varies by location, experience, and other factors). Total compensation may include equity and performance-related bonuses.
