Details

Develop and maintain NordVPN Windows desktop applications that are operational, high-performing, and secure. The role involves working across the full software stack, with a primary focus on desktop application development, as part of a cross-functional team supporting a global security product.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain NordVPN Windows desktop applications.
Ensure application features are operational and high-performing.
Work across the full software stack, primarily focusing on desktop application development.
Collaborate with developers, designers, QA professionals, and Product Owners.
Use Microsoft tools and technologies to extend and enhance product functionality through high-quality code.
Contribute to team-based software development and complex problem-solving.
Use technologies and programming languages outside the .NET framework when necessary to meet project requirements.

Requirements

Experience in software development as a .NET (C#) Developer.
Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Basic knowledge of source control and unit testing best practices.
Ability to adapt quickly to changes and solve complex edge cases.

Bonus Skills

Experience with XAML-based technologies such as WPF, UWP, or similar.
Knowledge of native Windows programming principles, Windows APIs, and WCF.
