Details

Anthropic is hiring a Product Manager to own Claude Marketplace as a product for partners who sell on it and customers who buy through it. The role involves building an AI-native marketplace experience, connecting builders and buyers, and working with Marketplace, product, engineering, Business Development, Finance, and Legal teams.

Responsibilities

Own the Marketplace product end to end for partners and customers, from onboarding and listing through purchase and billing.
Design scalable commercial workflows that meet partners' and customers' finance, audit, and compliance requirements.
Shape business strategy and commercial incentives with Business Development, Finance, and Legal, and build them into the product.
Serve as the product voice for partners and turn signals from partners, customers, and the field into a roadmap.
Define the Marketplace's success metrics and measurement approach.

Requirements

Experience owning a product end to end, including its operational workflows, with accountability for outcomes.
Experience building with or shipping on top of large language models and using them to improve a product experience.
Experience leading cross-functional work involving teams that did not report directly to you.
Ability to present to executives at partner companies and represent Anthropic effectively.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain product tradeoffs to engineers, executives, and external partners.
Commitment to Anthropic's mission and to building an ecosystem where companies building on Claude grow with it.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of product management experience.
Experience with a marketplace, app store, or partner ecosystem, either on the platform or partner side.
Experience taking a product from zero to one, including defining its users, product, and economics.
Go-to-market experience, including co-selling motions, partner programs, and platform economics in enterprise software.
Experience or familiarity with high-growth AI-native companies, their business models, and growth vectors.
