Who We Are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the Role
Stripe is looking for AI-enabled builders. If you are looking to apply your skills at a company that deeply cares about quality with global scale, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for early-career engineers who can solve problems, write code, ship features, and iterate quickly, all with a core focus on elevating Stripe’s craft and quality.
This is a 12-month intensive training program where you will be paired with a host team within Stripe, given a broad mandate, and ideally placed full time in a Product Manager role after completion of the program.
Responsibilities
- Embed yourself deeply with Stripe’s users. Work with users daily to understand their needs and forge new solutions involving financial technology, deep insights, automations, and AI-enabled features.
- Own the entire lifecycle, taking a user problem from initial discovery through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- Build on a home team and learn across Stripe. You will start on one team, such as Dashboard, Docs, Crypto, or Payment Methods, and eventually land a full-time role as a Product Manager.
- Demonstrate an ownership mindset by navigating codebases, tracking down answers, and overcoming technical constraints, unclear requirements, and process friction.
- Optimize how you work by refining workflows and tooling to increase leverage, automate bottlenecks, improve processes, and share effective approaches with others.
Success Measures
- User impact: Deliver meaningful features and improvements week after week so users see real impact from your work.
- Quality and speed: Maintain Stripe’s quality bar while moving faster than traditional team-based development.
- Influence: Help AI-enabled development approaches spread across the team and help others improve their AI skills.
Requirements
- New graduate or 0–2 years of professional experience.
- A degree in computer science or engineering.
- Demonstrated experience building through internships, personal projects, or school.
- Ability to solve problems, write code, ship features, and iterate quickly.
Logistics
- In-person at Stripe offices in New York City, Seattle, or South San Francisco.
- This is a 12-month intensive training program with the potential to transition into a full-time Product Manager role after completion.
