Details

Anthropic is hiring a Product Manager to own safe access primitives for Claude, including access programs, accounts, organization linking, verifications, user APIs for platforms, and internal tooling. The role will define product strategy and deliver a centralized identity, verification, and access system used across Anthropic’s internal and external products and surfaces.

Responsibilities

Own the product strategy and roadmap for account and access primitives, enabling Anthropic teams to provision access and run access programs with minimal support.
Own the end-to-end experience for obtaining and managing access for internal stakeholders, external customers, and partners.
Maintain a consistent access experience across products and surfaces serving different user types.
Support API designs and user experience for access APIs integrated by platforms, resellers, and internal services.
Work with engineering to design access primitives and make product decisions.
Partner with trusted access and verification product managers so new programs use shared primitives rather than one-off implementations.
Coordinate across product, safeguards, legal, and go-to-market teams and drive alignment when requirements conflict.

Requirements

Strong execution skills and a track record of shipping through ambiguity and cross-organization dependencies.
Clear written communication for technical, executive, and external audiences.
End-to-end ownership of a developer platform, identity, authorization, or access-management product, with accountability for outcomes.
Commitment to Anthropic’s mission and to scaling access to Claude safely.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of product management experience.
Experience with multi-tenant platforms consumed by first-party applications, direct API customers, and third parties.
Experience building account, identity, or subscription systems spanning multiple products.
Experience taking a product from zero to one in an ambiguous environment.

Compensation

Annual salary: $305,000–$385,000 USD.

Work Policy and Logistics

Hybrid role; staff are currently expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
Anthropic sponsors visas and makes reasonable efforts to support visa applications, though sponsorship is not guaranteed for every role or candidate.
