As Senior Product Manager for Billing and Marketplaces, you will own a key area of the billing platform and report to the Director of Product Management, Billing and Marketplaces.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, execution, and launches for a key area of billing or marketplaces, such as metering and pricing, prepaid commit, or a cloud marketplace, working with engineering leads, Finance, and Sales Operations.

  • Improve prepaid commit capabilities, including customer-specific rate cards, contract changes and rollovers, customer-facing balance visibility, and spend alerts.
  • Drive cloud marketplace integrations across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including private offers, usage reporting, and subscription linking.
  • Improve payment and collections flows, including dunning and delinquency handling, so customers are billed accurately and service is not interrupted by avoidable billing issues.
  • Lead billing launches for new products and pricing models in partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on how customers are billed across the company.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years owning billing, metering, payments, or commercial platforms for a cloud or usage-based product.
  • Solid understanding of usage-based pricing, prepaid credits, and committed spend contracts, and how they translate into systems, invoices, and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure marketplaces, including private offers, co-sell, and metering APIs.
  • Familiarity with payments across card, invoice, and marketplace channels, including dunning and delinquency flows.
  • Working knowledge of order-to-cash, including invoicing, tax, multi-currency, and revenue recognition.
  • Experience with third-party billing and payment platforms, such as Stripe or a usage-based billing vendor.
  • A track record of independently leading complex projects across engineering, Finance, and go-to-market teams, from scoping through launch.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting trade-offs to product and engineering leadership and explaining billing concepts to non-technical audiences.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience at an infrastructure, database, or developer platform company.
  • Comfort working deeply with engineers on event-driven architectures, data pipelines, and idempotency.
  • Fluency in SQL for analyzing billing data.
