Details
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Its Global Product Strategy & Operations team helps run the Global Product organization, supports global expansion, and works on the Adaptive Pricing payments business. The team develops long-term product strategy, scales operating models, and designs and incubates high-impact initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work on cross-cutting company strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to accelerate progress, solve complex scaling initiatives, and incubate new programs.
- Conduct analysis and research to inform overall strategy and growth decisions for global products.
- Help shape the Global Product roadmap through competitive intelligence, user insights, and data analysis.
- Advise Product, Engineering, go-to-market, and cross-functional leadership teams on resource allocation to maximize long-term strategic value.
- Partner with Finance on planning processes, including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, and OKRs.
- Monitor the financial health of the Global business, identify key metrics and trends, and develop improvement action plans.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or a highly analytical role at a technology company, or comparable management consulting experience.
- Ability to structure ambiguous, open-ended problems and distill complex findings into clear, concise, actionable recommendations.
- Ability to understand complex technical products and explain their value to non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and a track record of driving alignment and complex decisions with senior cross-functional leaders.
- Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
- Ability to work effectively in influence-without-authority environments and highly ambiguous contexts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and users.
- A proactive attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a fintech or payments-focused technology company.
- Experience developing market-entry strategies for globally expanding businesses.
- Experience using SQL and data to identify trends, generate insights, and solve problems.
- A track record of bringing new products to market and driving projects to completion with a high bar for quality.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, P&L management, or business forecasting.
- Experience using generative AI tools to enhance analysis or improve operational processes.
