Details

Design, build, and maintain Anthropic’s Salesforce platform supporting customer operations and quote-to-cash processes. The role covers sales automation, product catalog and pricing, quoting and approvals, order and contract management, and handoffs to billing and provisioning. You will work with RevOps, Order Management, Legal, Billing Engineering, Deal Desk, Finance and Accounting, Product, and DevOps teams to translate pricing and packaging requirements into scalable solutions. Claude and Anthropic’s internal AI development tooling are expected to be used throughout the development and code-review lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Apex triggers, services, selectors, batch and queueable processes, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation using established Apex standards and trigger frameworks.
• Design and build Salesforce quote-to-cash infrastructure, including product catalog and pricing data models, quote and order lifecycles, discount and approval automation, amendments, renewals, and co-termination flows.
• Extend CPQ and support agentic selling with custom pricing and quote-calculation logic, quote and order user experiences, and code using CPQ package APIs and data models.
• Build and own integrations between Salesforce and billing, provisioning, and finance systems such as Stripe, Metronome, and NetSuite, using middleware or direct integrations.
• Support product and pricing launches by modeling catalog, SKU, and pricing changes for consistent downstream release.
• Use Claude and internal AI development tools as part of the build and code-review workflow.
• Partner with Business Systems analysts and Finance on data-model decisions supporting bookings, forecasting, and revenue reporting.
• Collaborate with DevOps on sandbox strategy, source control, peer review, and SFDX/metadata-based deployments.
• Maintain appropriate controls, test coverage, and documentation, particularly for pricing, discounting, and contract changes.
• Operate independently in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment and propose scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on Salesforce development experience in a production organization using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
• Experience building or extending Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash functionality, including product and pricing models, quote and order lifecycles, approval automation, amendments, renewals, and custom CPQ package code.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with billing, ERP, or provisioning systems through REST or Bulk APIs, Workato, MuleSoft, similar middleware, or direct callouts.
• Fluency with SFDX, source-controlled metadata, and sandbox-to-production release processes with peer review.
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor, with the ability to explain how their output is guided and verified.
• Basic SQL skills and comfort working with a data warehouse.
• Effective communication with sales, deal desk, finance and accounting, product, and engineering stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
• Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce constraints, including governor limits, bulkification, sharing and visibility, recursion control, large-quote performance, calculation performance, and bulk amendments.
• Experience implementing CPQ end to end or re-platforming between CPQ solutions.
• Experience with Stripe, Metronome, Oracle, billing and finance platforms, or usage-based and consumption pricing models.
• Understanding of how CPQ decisions affect bookings, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Experience scaling Salesforce in a high-growth go-to-market environment.

Compensation and Logistics

• Annual salary: $270,000–$345,000 USD.
• Hybrid policy: Staff are currently expected to work from one of the company’s offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
