Senior Systems Analyst, Finance, Enterprise Apps

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst, Enterprise Apps (Finance) to join its Enterprise Applications and Architecture team. The team drives automation through integrated enterprise systems and technologies, streamlining business operations and enabling the finance team to focus on high-judgment tasks. This role serves as a financial systems subject matter expert, primarily supporting Zip, NetSuite, and other financial technologies. You will partner with product managers and sourcing, legal, accounting, and security teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only, company. Employees are expected to meet quarterly for in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and finance stakeholders to implement the product roadmap for Zip, Navan, NetSuite, and other financial applications.
• Analyze current business processes, perform fit/gap analyses, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply knowledge of Zip capabilities across Source to Pay, Order to Cash, General Accounting, and Financial Reporting processes.
• Perform platform administration, maintenance, and day-to-day support for Zip and boundary systems.
• Create functional and technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and business architecture diagrams.
• Design and build scalable solutions, including customizations, workflows, integrations, and analytics/reporting.
• Collaborate with citizen developers and engineers to develop and implement AI automations and agentic flows.
• Develop and execute test plans, and lead integration and user acceptance testing with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Agile, observability, technical debt management, automated testing, incident management, and defect management activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, prioritizing work based on severity and impact.
• Support business process transformation initiatives, including improvements to month-end close and reporting.
• Conduct solution walkthroughs, application demonstrations, and user training sessions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of systems administration experience with Source to Pay systems such as Zip or Coupa, NetSuite, and other finance applications such as Navan, Brex, or Oracle.
• 4+ years of hands-on configuration experience with Zip modules, including Vendor Management, Sourcing Intake, Procurement, Payables, Payment, Taxes, custom forms, fields, roles, queues, workflows, AI agents, and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience implementing large-scale sourcing or procurement systems and integrating them through middleware technologies such as Zip AppStudio, Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• At least 1 year of experience designing, building, and deploying AI technologies, including Slackbots or workflow-based agents using n8n and Workato Genie.
• Strong understanding of system-to-system integration principles, data flow patterns, and enterprise integration technologies, including web services, REST and SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, event-driven architectures, and MCP-based connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes such as sourcing, procurement, payables, vendor management, expenses, and general accounting.
• Deep understanding of month-end accounting processes and financial statement/reporting features in Zip and NetSuite.
• Experience with Agile methodology, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and reporting in Jira.
• Knowledge of production support, incident management, and defect management processes.
• Ability to learn new systems, work autonomously, and support growing finance functions.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Zip certification.
• Certification in AI technologies.
• NetSuite or Workato/middleware experience.
• Passion for the crypto economy and decentralized finance.
• Familiarity with fintech, regulated environments, or high-growth technology companies.

Compensation

The annual base salary range is $148,835–$175,100 USD, excluding equity and bonus. Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
