Details
NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler Team is hiring a Compiler Developer to help build an important optimizing compiler. The team works on pioneering compiler development in high-performance computing. NVIDIA GPUs are used in large high-performance computing projects and support scientific applications involving weather modeling, climatology, fluid dynamics, and defense.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs.
- Work with application teams to solve meaningful compilation problems.
- Partner with team members on high-performance computing and optimization projects.
- Interact directly with teams in the open-source community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience developing production-quality compilers or tools, or equivalent experience.
- Proven understanding of compiler internals, front ends, and optimizers.
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially C/C++, with a deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the EDG compiler front end or LLVM.
- Familiarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards.
- Passion for compiler development.
- Strong motivation and problem-solving skills.
