Details

Join NVIDIA’s team working on accelerated computing and AI infrastructure. This role supports customers by resolving sophisticated PCIe firmware challenges and collaborating with QA, applications, chip design, software, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

Investigate, debug, and resolve complex PCIe firmware issues for customers.
Serve as a trusted technical expert for customer-facing technical challenges.
Collaborate with chip design, software, and architecture engineers to identify root causes and develop long-term solutions.
Translate customer needs and field data into actionable product-development feedback.
Improve team processes and contribute to the technical knowledge base.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of professional experience in embedded firmware development, including deep knowledge of PCIe.
Strong foundation in computer architecture, operating systems, and object-oriented programming.
Proactive, curious approach with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving.
Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to customers and engineering peers.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for task automation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing or application engineering role.
Direct experience with PCIe switch architecture and firmware.
Knowledge of hardware verification concepts and tools, including C++ and Jenkins.
Expertise in networking protocols and the Linux operating system.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4 and USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
