Details

NVIDIA is growing its SDK Verification team and is looking for engineers early in their careers who want to develop expertise in verification, automation, and networking technology. You will work alongside SDK development and architecture teams, receive mentorship from senior engineers, and build expertise in networking protocols and NVIDIA networking technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated tests for SDK interfaces, development tools, and software libraries.
  • Contribute to the OS verification infrastructure and help keep it healthy.
  • Build and improve automation workflows that support fast, reliable SDK releases.
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines, adding coverage and improving stability.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, DevOps, and software teams to reproduce, isolate, and debug issues.
  • Participate in builds and code reviews, and grow into ownership of verification areas over time.
  • Use AI throughout the development lifecycle, including search, build, agents, and automation.

Requirements

  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development, automation, or verification.
  • Very strong Python skills, including experience writing and maintaining production-quality automation code.
  • Solid understanding of Linux, including the command line, debugging, and basic system concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git and at least one CI tool, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across teams around the world.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts.
  • Experience with test and automation frameworks such as pytest, Robot Framework, or equivalent in-house frameworks.
  • Exposure to Docker, Gerrit, or infrastructure-as-code tooling.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards with Grafana or Power BI.
  • Curiosity about networking and embedded system architecture.
  • A track record of independently learning new technical domains or contributing to open-source projects on GitHub.

Work Arrangement

The role is based in Austin and requires two days in the office per week. This is a full-time position.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is $124,000–$195,500 for Level 2 and $152,000–$241,500 for Level 3, depending on location, experience, and compensation for employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
