NVIDIA's OmniDreams and FlashDreams are the foundation for a new generation of interactive world-model systems. NVIDIA has released open weights models and an open-source inference engine, with the goal of making interactive world models viable for autonomous vehicles, robotics, rendering, and simulation.

The engineering leader will transform this technology into an industry-standard platform and ecosystem by building a team that keeps FlashDreams fast, makes OmniDreams useful in real-world workflows, and helps customers and researchers succeed with the stack. Success includes shipping high-quality software, trusted releases, strong performance, an engaged developer community, and research feedback that continuously improves the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Scale the engineering team building NVIDIA's interactive world-model platform across OmniDreams, FlashDreams, and AlpaSim technologies.
  • Establish the production engineering path for interactive world models in autonomous vehicles, rendering, robotics, and simulation.
  • Build the architecture and processes required to turn fast-paced research into reliable, developer-facing software.
  • Own product and engineering excellence, including performance, scalability, reliability, developer experience, CI/CD, and release management.
  • Partner with research, simulation, rendering, and autonomous vehicle teams to translate world-model breakthroughs into production-ready platform capabilities.
  • Grow the open developer and research ecosystem around NVIDIA's world-model stack.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated research or applied innovation in world models, video diffusion, neural rendering, Gaussian splatting or NeRFs, neural reconstruction, neural shading, simulation, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Technical fluency in the machine learning primitives behind interactive world models, including diffusion or flow-matching models, autoregressive or causal video generation, self-forcing or causal-forcing-style training, Gaussian splatting, NeRFs, and neural reconstruction.
  • Demonstrated experience turning research-stage systems into dependable, scalable products.
  • At least 12 years of overall experience and at least 5 years of experience leading teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Results-focused leadership, including building processes, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high quality bar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience adopting Gaussian splats, NeRFs, neural reconstruction, neural shading, or other advanced rendering techniques for autonomous vehicles, robotics, simulation, synthetic data, or production rendering workflows.
  • Hands-on experience building, adapting, or deeply evaluating world models, video generation systems, neural rendering systems, Gaussian splatting or NeRF pipelines, or neural shading techniques.
  • Experience transitioning from earlier neural rendering approaches, such as NeRFs or Gaussian splatting, toward generative world models for interactive simulation, rendering, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Published or peer-recognized work advancing the state of the art in world models, neural rendering, generative simulation, video generation, or production machine learning infrastructure.
  • Experience building developer ecosystems or research communities around open-source projects.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range of $272,000 to $431,250 USD for Level 4.
  • Base salary range of $320,000 to $488,750 USD for Level 5.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
