GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud gaming service, streaming games at high quality to users regardless of their device type and capabilities, including low-end PCs, Macs, TVs, and mobile devices. Using sophisticated GPUs and NVIDIA proprietary software, GeForce NOW provides an up-to-date gaming experience, streaming quality that rivals a local PC, and near-instant game launches.

The team is seeking an experienced Systems Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building cloud services that support GeForce NOW. The role focuses on improving operations and feature delivery cadence while maintaining the reliability of internal and external-facing cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a comprehensive technical leader across building, operating, customer advocacy, and delivery of results.
• Build strategies for growing usage and scaling existing customers while developing features for new customers.
• Create user experiences that delight customers while aligning long-term strategies with product goals and company vision.
• Own the technical requirements, roadmaps, design, architecture, implementation, operations, and management of the service.
• Deliver both product features and service capabilities, including availability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Make informed trade-offs among competing priorities.
• Partner with peer organizations in the GPU Cloud space.
• Work with software development teams to continuously improve service reliability through strong software engineering processes, tools, and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent program from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of software development or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading a software engineering team.
• Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, building, and operating cloud services, including SaaS and large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven experience taking mobile and cloud products from inception through successful release and adoption.
• Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Demonstrated ability to provide deep technical leadership to agile teams.
• Strong self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to quickly synthesize new ideas and concepts.
• Experience engaging with analysts, industry visionaries, and executives of Fortune 1000 companies is strongly preferred.
